The French InterMusées association selected Otipass for the implementation and management of the new digital PARIS PASS MUSEUM (PMP) solution

By January 1st, 2019, all the museums and monuments members of InterMusées will be equipped. The checkpoints will therefore be able to control the validity of the PMP using barcode readers connected to the Otipass management platform.

The solution relies on barcode technology and is RFID-ready for medium-term evolutions.

Otipass committed to provide the Application Programming Interfaces (API) to integrate the solution with the main ticketing systems used by the members of the association such as Best Union, Digitick, Secutix, Irec, Resource. Thus, whoever the service supplier may be, the sale and control of the PMP will be transparent for the customers and staff.

Thanks to the PARIS PASS MUSEUM, the customers can visit more than fifty of the most beautiful and prestigious museums and monuments of Paris and the Paris region. Since its creation, more than 13 million PMP have been sold (around 700 thousand last year), representing more than 60 million entrances.

Through this new partnership, Otipass demonstrates once again the value proposition of its offer towards major tourism service providers. The addition of one of the most demanded tourist Pass of the world is the decisive step in the company’s roadmap to become the international benchmark of digital tourism portals.
