Jerusalem City Pass will combine discounts for attractions, museums, and cultural sites, along with ease of access to local transportation for international visitors to the city.

Jerusalem joins leading tourist destinations around the world by launching its City Pass card. The JDA has announced that they selected the French company OTIPASS for supplying the new city pass card for tourists, travelers and other visitors to the city.

The Jerusalem City Pass card will enable tourists to enjoy discounts on admissions to the city's most popular attractions, provide public transportation throughout, airport transfer via a convenient shuttle service.

Smile Tourist Services Limited, will be the Israeli representative of OTIPASS and will provide the local services.  Thus Smile will use the secured and web-based platform provided by OTIPASS, based on contactless technology, for producing, managing, and operating all the Jerusalem City Pass, including financial settlements between  card-holders, tourist sites, and the city’s public transportation operator.
Jerusalem has seen a significant increase of visitors to the city, both around special events and conferences, other cultural festivals, and an increase in pilgrims and tourists who come to vacation in the city. “The introduction of the City Pass card will be a key factor in improving the tourist experience in Jerusalem” noted Mrs. Ilanit Melchior, Director of Tourism for the Jerusalem Development Authority. “With the introduction of the City Pass, we join other leading tourist destinations around the world such as Barcelona, Paris in providing this excellent facility for visitors to Jerusalem".

Ms., Melchior added that “the introduction of the new city card will enhance the tourist experience visiting Jerusalem will enable him to take advantage of the many attraction with more ease and in this way give him a most satisfying visit in Jerusalem".

Philippe Rousselet chairman and founder of OTIPASS declared that “Otipass is very honored to be chosen by Jerusalem and we are impatient to put our technological solution and our expertise at the service of the Jerusalem’s promotion”.
